I’m glad you got some sleep. 🙂 When I composed my advice, I forgot that tired people don’t always make sense when writing, so I apologize for correcting the contradiction.

I hope that Caleb Packo had a good Valentine’s Day and that he comes to visit the Not-Forum more frequently.

#thatmomentwhen you watch an old video that asks for a specific type of comment, then read all of the comments and realize no one wrote that type of comment, so you submit one just for fun. 😀

Thanks for that clarification Bekah! I’m glad you are doing your best to love people like the Bible says to. We’ll try to be sensitive toward your aversion of waffles, and we hope that you’ll be considerate toward our fondness of them.

Well, if you really want to go back to sleep, I recommend praying and reading Scripture (or reciting memorized Scripture if you need to keep the lights off). Other strategies I use include getting up, walking around a little bit, and going back to bed.

Also, “So much on my mind” and “I can’t think!” are two contradictory sentences. Philippians 4:6-7 is what I’d look at for God’s amazing peace, and Psalm 4:8 is a comforting Scripture to help calm down at bedtime.

If we want Kristen to attend, we may have to consider Tax Season. Taxes are due by middle of April, so it may be the end of April or in May that she’s available. (This is completely speculation on my part.)

That sounds like fun and important work.

How big would this virtual Auxcon be? I feel like we could have several virtual Auxcons before Masøn travels in June if we do it right. I’m trying to think of the logistics for fun interactive activities that we could simultaneously do virtually…

We would probably have to “check in” here on the Not-Forum at a designated time for instructions on what the group will be doing, so any late arrivals will know where to find everyone.

That post was some “tough love” early in the morning, but better to deal with it now than let it fester. Time for me to go to bed.

Philippians 1:9-11 is what I’m praying for every F.A.C.E. today.

Ooh, good observation, AP. However, I must say that it is worse to hate a person than a food. You may disdain what that person has done or stands for, but don’t hate the person. If Jesus died for someone, and He knew everything about them ahead of time, then don’t waste your time hating whom God loves. Forgive and move on.

Why do you hate waffles, Bekah? I mean, it’s one thing to dislike them or not prefer them, but hatred is a strong emotion to have toward food items.

😀 I enjoy Frank Caliendo’s impressions. I one of my favorites is the video below. Being a huge sports fan and an avid ESPN & 30 for 30 viewer when this clip released, I was laughing hard the first time I watched it.

Random thought: How come we have F.A.C.E.s in three different time zones, but they all wake up and post on the Not-Forum at the exact same time?

#thatmomentwhen you stay up all night reading the Not-Forum because you didn’t have anything going on the next day and your schedule is rather nocturnal at present. #thatmomentwhen you hope no one else can relate, for their sakes.

I remember the Phantom Tollbooth. I remember when the main characters had realized how the puns within the story worked and were able tell the “Can be” (Canby) what his name was when he himself forgot [I found that part quite fascinating, for the main character had been puzzled throughout the book up to that point]. I think we even watched the movie of it in class after finishing the book, and I had to miss part of it due to a piano lesson. Or else I watched the whole thing and I missed part of a different movie due to a piano lesson. It was back in grade school, so I’ve forgotten. What I do remember is that part of the movie was real people, and part of it was cartoon. I might have to go back and re-read that story or re-watch the movie.

If you’ve ever seen the YouTube series originally entitled “Lie-beria”, you’ll hear about an intriguing monetary investment that has turned into a life-changing project instead of a scam. I think now it may be called “By D Grace of God”. It’s one of those “don’t try this at home” scenarios that turned out to be so much better than the filmmaker thought it would going in.

Reading through old Not-Forum posts is so much fun when you don’t have any sort of time limitation. Maybe I should have had a self-imposed deadline…

I remember Valentines Day in 8th grade, where there was only one classmate besides me that got valentines for everyone in the class. It felt slightly awkward, but it’s something that everyone had done since Kindergarten, so it felt weirder to me that most of the class didn’t.

I guess if homeschoolers read this, they may not understand the concept of passing out valentines to everyone in class during grade school. I know at least one year (possibly many years) I passed out little VeggieTales valentines (it was a private Christian school, so I usually wasn’t the only child who had VeggieTales valentines to pass out). Of course, as a child, the candy received meant more than the little valentines did. xD

This entire thread demonstrates what the Not-Forum was before…The Hiatus and when I arrived to stay on the Not-Forum. Such imagination, such wit, such bizarre ideas, such digression. #MustRead
