Thread to discuss things we are passionate about.
Umm…there is another thread of that 😉
What type of music do you listen to? What book genre is your favorite? What do you want to do after highschool?
PUNS!!!!! Wait, why isn’t there a thread for that?
Pentatonix!!! My fave band. What are y’alls fave bands?
I can’t pick just one. I really like Coldplay and Switchfoot…
I love country!!!!
The only country song I know that well is Back Home by Owl City…
Cool, Coldplay is good! 🙂
Owl city isn’t country.
That’s true, but Jake Owen is on it. It’s not super strong country, but country nonetheless.
Jake Owen is AMAZING!!!!
You should listen to more country. I suggest steve moakler and Chris stapleton. Steve is more pop, stapleton is more bluegrass. They are my current favorites
I just listened to “back home” good song! 😀
He’s not Country, but Andrew Peterson is somewhat Bluegrassyish (at least some of his older stuff). He’s pretty good…
Cool! I’ll check him out
If you don’t mind me asking, Carrot, why don’t you have fb or other social medias? If you don’t wanna answer any question I ever ask just tell me so, and I won’t bug you about it any further.
I mostly just haven’t bothered to do so. Social media doesn’t really gain me that much except more time spent in front of a screen.
That’s a good point. I think it’s wise not to have a ton of social media.
Anybody know where Brooke and Dawn went?
No clue, maybe they have a life outside of social media. *shrugs* they will come back.
Anybody read any good books lately?
Currently working on reading Winter (part of the lunar chronicles), and as soon as I’m done with that, I will read all of the ted dekker books that I got for Christmas (thank to ryans book suggestions, I can’t get enough of ted dekker)
What about you?
I haven’t really read much lately aside from school stuff (current Literature book is Fahrenheit 451), but I did read Fridays with the Wizards by Jessica Day George. That was decent.
Cool!! *adds that to the list*
Note, Tuesdays at the Castle is the first book (and the best). They’re also kid’s books, so they’re not super high literature or anything.
One of my favorite series that I read last summer was the “Insignia” trilogy, by S.J. Kincaid. It’s certainly not for everyone, but it is now one of my favorite series. I also like the “Mortality Doctrine” trilogy by James Dashner, the author of Maze Runner. And Kristen, you said you love Disney trivia… I’m guessing you’ve read the Kingdom Keepers Series, then?..
I feel silly that I don’t know what most of these books are… I’ve mentioned the Wingfeather Saga before, has anybody else read it?
