In rereading this thread (which was a Very Fine Dalliance), I became curious whether Josiah ever did read the series and have a favorite character, and whether Kristen’s guess on that was correct.
I’m almost through my second watch of Season 1, and it’s as great as I remembered it. And yes Dipper’s VA is pretty awesome
But he peeled off my skin and he threw me into the water to save me

I am forcibly removed from the notforum for making a stupid meme
This one is not really going to make sense to anyone because it’s about a specific D&D campaign and characters (one of whom is a human cleric and the other a mouse person who is unfortunately…undead). But it’s the only parody I’ve written recently, so here it is.
Man or Mousefolk (parody of Man or Muppet from The Muppets)
Oxalo:
As we plan to jailbreak Aaron
I wonder how we came to Mirren-
Dell and ended up so darin’
To overthrow
I don’t know
Am I a man or am I a mousefolk
If I’m a mousefolk I’m a very manly mousefolk
Am I a mousefolk or am I a man
If I’m a man that makes me a mousefolk of a man
Petros:
I look down at the stones
Former friend with undead bones
I wish I was back home
But Vinny’s kingdom is torn
Am I a man or am I a mousefolk
If I’m a mousefolk I’m a very manly mousefolk
Am I a mousefolk or am I a man
If I’m a man that makes me a mousefolk of a man
Both:
Here I go again
I’m always trying to do what’s right
I won’t go down without a fight
Now I understand who I am
Petros:
I’m a man
Oxalo:
I’m a mousefolk
Petros:
I’m a mousefolk of a man
Oxalo:
I’m a very manly mousefolk
Petros:
A mousefolk of a man
Both:
That’s what I am
I know I’m very late to this thread, but I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender last week and it is indeed a very good show. So is Gravity Falls, which is good enough to make me want to rewatch it (though I haven’t yet).
Get it together, use your spell-checker
I hope no one reading this thread is currently suffering from Vigorously Flatulent Diarrhea. Also #BringBackManalive
#36786 I got it for Christmas this year so we can both bring it!
When the vacuum was first invented, it wasn’t a Bissal, but it did kinda suck.
But we can’t forget the invention of the wheel; that was what really got things rolling.
(We should revive this thread)
Neon gravestones try to call for my bones
I just wanna get robbed at knifepoint
(I wrote this a few days ago)
The juxtaposed blend
Of yellow, gold, white, and blue
Winter, autumn both
(I saw this one the other day)
There once was a man
From Cork who got limericks
And haikus confused
Ooh, a spreadsheet! That’ll be helpful; thanks, Jeff. Hopefully that can be posted on here, but if not we can make a separate Skype chat or something.
I do have a question/suggestion: what if we made the parodies into a type of story? I’m not sure if we’re trying to go for a narrative, or just a showcase of what we consider the “best” parodies. If there are enough songs to make a story, it could truly be Aux Cable: The Musical. But it doesn’t have to be, especially since that could involve writing even more parodies and I don’t know if Franklin had in mind a deadline for this project (say, the third anniversary of the podcast, which is September 28)
But with life, you never know
When you’re coming up to the end of the road
Pardon me while I throw up
#thatmomentwhen there is a new Messy Mondays but you’re in a Skype call…
I am currently reading The Slippery Slope, and I must say that I now understand a good deal more of the Very Fine Discourse on this thread. Also, I miss Manalive. #bringbackManalive
Happy birthday! I have nothing else to say at the moment. 😛
Hahahaha Masøn I just tried to play your video and it says it’s blocked by WMG on copyright grounds
I can understand why they didn’t use that as the original, but I would, at this point in my life, appreciate a song about cooking manatees.
Also, after all this time we still have no vice president, so that could be a potential position for Chris if he still wants to join. I think we should also come to a consensus on Franklin’s title, since I appear to be the only one who’s said anything about his “Dad of TOPHAT” position.
I just found my physical list of everyone’s TOPHAT positions and was going to update it with Shay’s, but apparently that was never actually decided.
Rocket (or technically pop, but that was already used)
I think you would beat the moon in a pretty contest
#thatmomentwhen Jeff’s post on the “I am Groot” thread reminds you that in the MCU, Thor canonically took Groot as an elective when he was younger.
#thatmomentwhen it appears that I am Groot has posted four times, at least on your screen.
I might end up writing a short story for a class based on the butterfly apocalypse.
