Very good. I found the timestamp to verify your claim: 1:43-1:47
(Franklin, it’s a borrowed Model T; I have to return it soon.)
Indeed.

That was a fun puppet show!
From the Office of the H.O.W.D.A.R.E.Y.O.U.:
Greetings, Fellow F.A.C.E.s!
I listened to Episode 027 of the Aux Cable this past day, and it mentioned how touched Ryan and Matthew were by the actions taken at the beginning of this thread to celebrate “Ryan and Matthew Appreciation Day” on April 1, 2017. This year, April 1, 2018 doubles as Easter, and the idea has been suggested that we do another fan episode of the Aux Cable, similar to what we did at Christmas time, in order to show our appreciation. We may discuss more about this at Mini-AuxCon this weekend [but probably not record anything then due to logistical concerns]. Nevertheless, I would like to designate this thread as the headquarters for our “Easter/Ryan & Matthew Appreciation Day” planning. We were able to pull off the Christmas episode in less than a month and I believe that with God’s help we can do the same once again, if not better.
Goals of this fancast would be threefold:
1. To show our appreciation to Ryan and Matthew for the Aux Cable podcast, for the Not-Forum, and for releasing regular episodes again in 2018 after a long hiatus
2. To get more notable F.A.C.E.s to have their voices in this episode than were in Episode 037
3. To use the gifts of creativity that God has given us to craft an episode that is arguably better than the first one we did
This is the proposal. (As you can see, I’m dressed in costume, sitting in a Model T, waiting for your response.)
I am moving discussion about this potential event to the following thread for security and sentimental reasons:
The juxtaposition of the last three comments suggests that wileycoyote was calling anyone who subscribed due to her advertisement, “gullible”, but there is a comment missing in that chain, and there may have been an Adler vine about the word in the video prior, so I’m guessing that subscribing due to the advertisement is not falling prey to a prank.
If you really want an obscure one, check out https://auxcableshow.com/40020
It’s the only comment like it so far.
Nope, Joshua, there are plenty of simple & hassle-free ways of getting your voice a potential fancast, and there are other, non-audio ways of helping out too. Having heard your voice on Anchor already, I think your voice would make its way onto the show without any additional r-e-c-o-r-d-i-n-g equipment. If you heard Episode 037, you’ll know that none of us really had “special” equipment; we just found a way to utilize what we had access to.

One idea would be to answer some of the questions that were composed for Episode 040 but weren’t answered in that episode (I know Bekah complained about not having any of her submissions answered on the episode and several other F.A.C.E.s submitted many more questions than were answered). Another idea would be to come up with questions based upon older episodes of the Aux Cable (follow-up or related questions) that inspire listeners to go back and listen to those episodes. A third idea would be to go back through the list of Kristen’s questions that she submitted for the #AuxCableFan episode and answer some of those. A fourth idea would be to reach out to Ryan, Matthew, Angie, and Sarah to see if they had any questions for us.
What other things we include depends upon whether we want to try to record the episode live or if we go with the segmented approach that we did for Episode 037 (Or a combination thereof).
I mean, we did do a Christmas Episode, so we probably could do an Easter Episode. It took us a month to make the Christmas one and it’s about a month until Easter, so…
One idea would be to utilize our upcoming mini-AuxCon this weekend as an opportunity to record an episode, or at least discuss recording it.

I just saw that Anchor has received some recent updates. I’m curious to hear what the avid Anchor users think of the changes.
Look what I found that made me think of Masøn:
It really is.
I finally watched the video now. I’m happy for you Masøn! #OneStepCloserToTheInnerCircle
My favorite hymn of today is “He Keeps Me Singing” by Luther Bridgers. I want to highlight the second verse of the hymn:
All my life was wrecked by sin and strife,
Discord filled my heart with pain,
Jesus swept across the broken strings,
Stirred the slumb’ring chords again
I sang this hymn this morning and the second verse stood out to be because of the word “Discord”. Having tested out the Aux Cable Discord server with Chris & Ryan, I recognized the word as a software before remembering what it actually means. Then I examined it in the context of the verse and realized, “IT’S A PUUNNNNN!!!!!!!” “Discord” can mean either “disagreement between people” or “unpleasant combination of musical sounds”. So the word “Discord” in the verse plays off of the “sin and strife” AND the musical imagery of the latter two lines of the verse. Super cool!
The rest of the verses of the hymn may not have puns, but they are excellent. If you’re looking for a good hymn to sing today or memorize for tomorrow, be sure to check this one out. 😀
Just finished Skyping with Franklin for Tube hours & change. Joshua Skyped with us awhile during that span and Bekah popped in and out for brief moments. Looking forward to Skyping with more F.A.C.E.s at the upcoming mini-Auxcon next weekend! 😀
No I haven’t made a million but I’ve touched a million lives
You have a grammar & vocabulary for the language, or are you making it up as you go? I enjoy looking at well-designed conlangs. 🙂
#thatmomentwhen you substantially underestimate how long it will take a piece of software to install on your computer, so you use your phone to post to the Not-Forum while you wait.

We are planning for next weekend as the next big one, but since Franklin is scheduled to be unavailable then, I did agree to Skype with him and anyone else who wants to this evening.
That would be a fun crossover. 😀
All right, I think I’ve done most of the threads that didn’t have follow-up threads, belong to the anticipated release of an old episode of the podcast, or focus on last year’s FACEoffs, so I think I’ll call it a night.
