My mom said she wanted Season Passes to the Austin Broadway. It’s showing 7 shows this season. Including Hamilton. And she was trying to convince my dad they should get some. So I said, “Have you ever even listened to any of Hamilton?”
“No…” she responded.
“So you’re just giving into the bandwagon that’s it’s good?”
She doesn’t respond.
“Also, you realize that it’s almost entirely rap, right?”
(Rap is basically her least favorite kind of music)
She still doesn’t respond.
So I start playing Guns and Ships.
“Well… There’s still gonna be 6 other shows!..” she responds.
