According to my research, a 100 year-old American penny is worth at least 10 American cents to a collector even if highly worn. I recommend hanging on to that penny. (That’s my two cents.)

#thatmomentwhen you discover “Il Pulcino Pio” from its German translation ” and spend the next half hour listening to different translations of the song to find out how the animals sound in different languages. (The English translation could have been much better, which is probably why I have never heard the song before.) The song’s been out since 2012 and the Spanish translation has over 1,000,000,000 views on YouTube, but somehow I missed it entirely until today.

Thanks for sharing that, Masøn…at first I saw that title and thought “Water you thinking?” but then I watched the video and understood completely. 😀

#thatmomentwhen I know they released on DVD, because we had copied our VHS to DVD about a year before they released on DVD, thinking that they wouldn’t ever release on DVD. (Our homemade copy had hilarious thumbnails from pausing the episodes at just the right spots. 😀 ) We bought the DVD’s when they released, but kept our homemade copy as backup. I don’t know where you could get them on DVD now, however.

#thatmomentwhen I know we had all three videos back in the day, and then we bought it on DVD when they released the collection that way. According to the Fancy Monkey Studios website, you can buy the shows on a USB flash drive that also contains 43 Jungle Jam audios and then some for only $242.40 (quite the bargain if you ask me; Jungle Jam is as good of an audio broadcast as Little Dogs on the Prairie is of a visual broadcast). You can also purchase the video episodes from the website at $14.95 each for download or $4.95 for physical VHS tapes.

Personally, I recommend searching harder for your VHS tapes because the internet is surprisingly devoid of most LDotP content. Even its Wikipedia page leaves much to be desired.

According to the TOPHAT thread, page 3, “Christian crack” is code for the candy “jolly ranchers”.

Hmm…I see that Awkward Potato’s role in TOPHAT is “Official Hug Dealer”…that might be the office to best help cope with shock. Then again, Explosive Yeast might be the most appropriate F.A.C.E. to call in a time like this.

That remark of gratitude reminds me of a star-studded podcast I stumbled upon recently from Corban Garcia: https://corbangarcia.com/post/167621190362/rockettoanywhere-41-thanksgiving-special

Feel free to listen to it while we await new F.A.C.E.s to show up to this thread…
