The keyboard/piano part of Migraine by Twenty-One Pilots is eerily similar to the Thomas The Tank Engine theme song (specifically, the rhythms are almost identical). I thought that it was purely coincidental until I heard these lyrics in Screen:
“Look out below crashing down to the ground just like a vertical locomotive
That’s a train, am I painting the picture that’s in my brain?
A train from the sky, locomotive, my motives are insane”
A train falling from the sky? That’s an oddly specific vision to put into a song for three straight lines. Are they trying to tell us something about Thomas The Tank Engine? Falling from the sky, like a fallen angel, like a demon….
What are they trying to tell us?
