In verbal communication, I typically conclude my sentences with an extremely brief period of silence, otherwise known as a “pause.”

I find it mildly amusing that we went through almost two whole not-forum pages in our panicked campaigning.
Yeah, same. (Just for clarification, pomme means apple, pomme de terre means apple of earth…aka potato)
…but then again…pomme frits is french fries…the French language is confusing!!
That is why you should study German. Which is probably actually more confusing. Also, I’m disappearing very soon.
English is confusing, just in other ways.
