Apple’s products are well made, but you’re limited by their own products and any poor decisions they make. Microsoft, not as well made, but much better than it used to be, and much more variety of products to choose from to fit one’s needs.

If Apple made an Ipad Pro with Mac OS and a couple buttons to the pen, I’d consider much more to get that. Right now the Surface Pro 4 meets my needs.

And to Brooke’s question on the Surface: totally recommend. Not as good for drawing as say a wacom, but its a full fledged computer that I use for school and a laptop. Battery life is so so. But I always have my backpack on me anyway.

Just make sure you get one with at least 8 gb. for drawing. There were many times I ran out of cache on my 4gb ram Surface Pro 3. So you’d be looking at a $1000 investment with another model rumored on the way.

My mom is 5′ 2″ and my dad is 6′ 4″. So I got stuck being close to average male height (which is 5′ 10″)

On this discussion, I’m 5′ 11″ at around 137 pounds. Which puts me I believe around the 70th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. I have hardly no muscle mass, though more than when I did since I started college.

But my figures are from looking at charts online. I don’t actually know my percentile since different places said different things.

Nope, I haven’t yet stalked your FB page. And with the Surface Pro, it has a glass screen, so there will be fingerprints and etc. on it. But for me its definitely easier to draw once you know what you’re doing. Took some practice for me to convert from physical art to digital. I use Photoshop and I can undo and test things out without worrying that I’ll mess up my picture (Just make sure you aren’t drawing on the same layer, lol).

Oh, yeah, I like drawing. And that was over a year ago and that one took over two weeks to do with time constraints. I could do better now but I no longer have my Surface Pro 3 (saving up for a new one now). Thanks Kristen!

My brothers (the 20 and 19) went together to the same college in KY. I stayed home to do a local community college.

I don’t know. I know its a lot, but at the same time I’m so used to it that it doesn’t really seem like it.

Lets see, my siblings are
Group 1 (all boys): 21 (Me), 20, 19
Group 2 (all girls): 14, 12, 10
Group 3: 5 (girl), almost 3 (boy), and one next month (girl).

Same parents. Just for some reason they all came in their own groups with a 5-6 year gap between them.
