Hey, friends! ? Just wanted to point out a new page of the website that I created last night. It’s a special page that lists all of the advertisements we’ve done on the show, complete with times to skip to in the episodes. Sound fun? I think so! Now we can find the ads that we want to listen to super easily! ? I’ve been working on building this list for a while, and I haven’t even finished it. I have a spreadsheet with a bunch more to add onto the webpage… which I will get to soon.

Well, I have made it so you can now click on those links and it will jump to that post on the same page. It won’t work if the post is on another page, however, but I will try to add that functionality later.

“My name is Carlos the llama, and I’m a llama, not an alpaca.”

“Well, my friend, that’s not my department. Just hand me your phone.”

Carlos narrowed his eyes as he reluctantly handed his phone to this icy stranger.

“Do you know the answer to this riddle then?” Peter asked as the man typed something into Google.

“Well, that depends, doesn’t it. Is this an African swallow carrying a coconut?”

“I think that unladen means it isn’t carrying anything, so technically it couldn’t be carrying a coconut.” Robecca volunteered quietly.

“Don’t ask me! How should I know? It was her question.” The Ogress froze as Peter pointed to her.

“You. Ogress. What should I type into Google then? Is it African? European? Assyrian, perhaps?” The man demanded.

“There aren’t any Assyrian swallows!” Robecca interjected.

“I don’t know, I don’t know!!” Shouted the ogress.

And quick as a whip, the ogress was lifted high into the sky by some unknown force, then disappeared into the distance.

Oh man, I know!! I’m so excited! They were filming here in Vancouver and I know someone who actually worked on it so I got a few behind the scenes details. Can’t wait!!

…and because she despised llamas so much. But Carlos the llama had other ideas. And so, late one night, he snuck out with Peter to go to the city and pursue his dream of playing music. There was only one problem with their otherwise brilliant plan. They didn’t know how to get to the city.

“Let’s pick a direction and keep walking, we’ll eventually find something,” said Peter.

“Ehhhh, or we could follow the yellow-ish road,” suggested Carlos the llama.

Peter shrugged and sheathed his sword, which was really just a bread knife, but let’s indulge him. He was embarking on a dangerous journey, and he needed something to protect himself other than his powerfully smelly armpits.

Yeah. I said that the survey would be out “tomorrow” as in the day after this episode is released. It’s a little confusing having the dates all switched around because of recording so far in advance, I know. 😛

But yeah, we’ll post the survey with full details on the 17th. For those who’d like a chance to win a gift card or a Skype call, you can fill out the survey with your email address, and we’ll do a random draw on a video to choose the winners! Sounds fun, eh? 😉

Okay, so I have finished implementing several changes to the website on which I’ve been working for a while now. This includes changes to prevent spam! And so far, we haven’t gotten any spam submitted to the forum at all. YAY!! 😀

I’ve also made changes to the account and email systems. So if you’ve had issues with setting up an account or resetting your password in the past, it should be all better now. The emails will now be properly identified as being sent from “The Aux Cable” instead of “WordPress”.

Hahaha!! You’re posting too quickly there, Kristen! ? And actually, that’s the first time I’ve heard what that error actually says.

And yeah…I’d like to apologize for the spam. We want this place to be safe for everyone, and we are doing our best to ensure that. Unfortunately, this is the internet, and spam happens. I’ve been working on a few changes for the website that will help to better combat the bots targeting the not-forum.
