‘Accidental theivery’ is a valid thing, I believe. If you check out a book from the library and forget to bribe it back for way too long, just cause you forgot to return it, I think that’s accidental thievery. Thievery nonetheless, but accidental.
There was also one time where I put my friends toy in my pocket and forgot about it. When I got home I pulled it out. I immediately ran to my mom in tears, because I had “stolen” my friend’s toy. It was returned as soon as possible. “Accidental thievery”.
