#thatmomentwhen I just finished the Bible study. The actual study didn’t start for 30 minutes just because everyone was trying to make sure their connection was working, but it was a really good examination of the Scriptures on the joy God gives us vs. happiness that other sources give us. Then we chatted for an extra hour or so afterward.

So one thing I learned is it is hard to get a live video chat started, but once it does start, it’s hard to end it because no one really wants to leave. 🙂 Just something to keep in mind if us F.A.C.E.s ever decided to to a video call of some sort: Budget way more time than you think you’ll need.

Haha! Yeah… I imagine it was a great experience for everyone. When I took an online class last year we would all voice chat for another hour, so it totally makes sense…

Yeah, the video calls I’ve done are always at least an hour long. But they’re all really fun! The Facebook chat has done several group calls, and they were pretty great, so no one wanted to leave. We really should do a FACE Skype call or something at some point.

Actually, that wouldn’t be bad, but I was going to say we almost never got a day off. Mostly because we could always get to our schoolwork.

Yeah, that’s how it was when I was homeschooled too. Although we usually took the same days off as the public school did.
