I actually kind of enjoy existential uncertainty.

Enjoying existential uncertainty? That doesn’t sound enjoyable to me.

Maybe I just have a weird way of looking at things. I was reading a mystery written by a particle physicist once and a character pointed out that God could have created the whole universe only a moment ago, filling our heads with memories and adding evidence of history. There is nothing you could do to disprove an assertion like that, but also nothing you can do to prove it. At first I found it disturbing to think about, then I realized that if it was true it meant that I had been created only a moment ago and God had specifically given me the memory of a story telling me that I had been created only a moment ago. Meaning that even if I only just started existing God cared enough to let me in on the joke.

Thoughts like that are my favorite kind. I love thinking about stuff like that. It shakes up my normal way of thinking and makes me all the more grateful that God did what He did

Dude, I love thinking about things like this.

(Also, I tried to post this twice before this time. I also got 3 error messages, and I’m confused by the last one:
    ERROR: Invalid author name submitted!
    ERROR: Invalid email address submitted!
ERROR: Slow down; you move too fast.)

The Ted Dekker book said something like…the world we are in, is just us wandering around blind. And one day we will open our eyes and everything will completely different from what we know. It was a metaphor for being saved, but still.
Just thinking that this world…the place I call home…isn’t real, but instead…just like…a video game kinda. Idk.
Thoughts like that keep me up all night. I like it I do. Just…thinking like that. Idk.

I just put Kingdom Keepers on hold at the library. I’ll let you know what I think.

And right now I’m a cashier at a health food restaurant, but that should change by the end of May. I’m going to be a ptychographer! Well an intern with a ptychography experiment, still not even sure if it’s paid. I’m just so happy!

Don’t judge me for loving kingdom keepers. I’m a Disney junkie. So…but the underground tunnels under magic kingdom are real. I’ve seen them (crossed it off my bucket list)

In The True Meaning of Smekday (the best combination of alien invasion, comedy, and social commentary ever written) they basically visit secret tunnels under Disneyland, only it’s not published by Hyperion so they have to change it to Happy Mouse Kingdom, and name all the rides after lesser known fairytales. It’s pretty great.

    That sounds amazing!!
    I love stuff like that!
Disney has so many secrets…most are dark and…not for children. But the good ones are amazing!! The underground tunnels that aren’t really underground, as they cannot dig. So when you walk on Main Street USA, you are actually on the second story of MK. (Sorry, I geek out about Disney a lot) (have you ever been)
