Going back to the SAT briefly, it takes like 4 or 5 hours. Yeah, the essay is bad. I’m not a fast writer, and I’ve heard all the topics are pretty bland. It was very nerve-wracking going into, knowing that your score could save you thousands and thousands of dollars, or, if you aren’t happy with it, you can spend more money and waste another Saturday to take it again.
I suggest, if your college doesn’t need the essay (most don’t), don’t take it. Saves you money, stress, time.
Ignoring the pressure surrounding the test, I really actually didn’t mind taking it. Time flies by, and multiple choice tests are like a game.

When I took the SAT…I didn’t need to do the essay, so I didn’t.

How well are they going to be graded anyway when the graders have to read through literally hundreds of them?

I’m fairly sure you can’t take the SAT online. So yes, I wrote by hand. I’m an excellent bubble filler

I think the essay was 45 minutes, and I didn’t finish in time. And yeah, the grading didn’t make sense.
Don’t do the essay.
