I’ve never done awana
AWANA tell you how wonderful it is.
Lol! That made me chuckle.
*bows*
#thatmomentwhen you’re catching up on threads
I agree with Carrot, Yeast, you should wear a helmet. It’s the yeast you can do to protect your head’s safety.
My friend has 5 switches… I do not condone his actions.
HOW IN HYRULE DID HE GET FIVE?!?!?!?!
He’s told me, but I forget. I’ll try to remember to ask him tomorrow.
#thatmomentwhen you ask if anyone happens to have an Ancestry subscription to see if they could maybe do some stalking for you… Also I’m too lazy to get the free trial because it requires a credit card and stuff… but if anyone happens to have it…
My dad had a subscription, so I cannot get access to it as its strictly for my messed up twisted up family tree.
Also, why in the world did he spend $1500 on video games?
Lol, okay… And that’s a great question Carrot… If it were me it would be to sell them on Ebay for a higher price to pay for games lol…
Right!! I could buy a cat and a half with that!!!
Oh look, I got 1,000 without even trying. Yeah, he could make a mint on ebay…
Yeah, he’s going to resell 4, but he hasn’t done it yet.
That’s is way to many switches in one place I feel like the universe might collapse if he keeps that many.
#thatmomentwhen You get in a facebook argument because you say twenty one pilots is one of your favorite Christian bands.
That’s is way to many grammar errors in one run-on sentence and I’m pointing it out in Carrot’s absence.
Tøp is one of my favorite Christian bands as well. Anybody who disagrees needs to hear Taxi Cab or March to the Sea or Trees or basically any of their songs
Now the person I was arguing with told me to chill out. I might have been a little too passionate about it.
That’s not a bad thing. Tøp is a great thing to be passionate about.
true.
I would say that they are Christians in a band, and that some, or a lot, of their songs have Christian themes, but I certainly wouldn’t call them a mainstream Christian band… I don’t expect to hear them on Air1 lol… I do prefer their type of Christian music over the radio “Christian” music, though.
That’s just what I think though
Some of their songs are heavily Christian. And I think calling them a “Christian band” isn’t too far of a stretch. Though, I do agree about them being Christians in a band that hints at Jesus and religion and sometimes blatantly makes songs about it.
(Now I have Trapdoor stuck in my head)
No offense to anybody that likes it… but some (not all, but some of the stuff) on Christian radio these days is garbage.
I agree. It’s the same old same old.
I personally think there should be a Christian station that’s worship music and a separate one for a mix of that and “positive, encouraging” songs that tend to talk more about humanity’s struggles than the glory of God. Not that there’s not a time and place for those songs, but there should be a station for actual worship music.
But yeah, I agree. There are a lot of songs that are just unoriginal, simple, way too repetitive, and musically and dynamically uninteresting.
*cough* Good Good Father *cough*
I think it’s time for a new #thatmomentwhen thread.
I prefer country-Christian songs.
Examples:
Me and God- Josh Turner
The little girl- John Michael Montgomery
Something in the water- carrie underwood
I saw God today- George strait
When I get where I’m going- Brad paisley
Bless the broken road- rascal Flatts
Three wooden crosses- randy travis
Long black train- Josh Turner
(All great songs. Most country artists release faith-based songs so the list could go on and on and on)
