Oh, so if you hadn’t received a package, he would have just put mail in the box and driven off, allowing you to emerge inconspicuously after his departure, right? Am I following what happened correctly? But since he had a package, you had to “pop” out because otherwise he would have seen you hiding and gotten suspicious?

Ah. I can understand how uncomfortable that must have felt. One time I was locked out of my house and the mailman showed up, so I awkwardly explained my predicament and told him who I was waiting for. He just handed me the mail in-person and I had something to read while I waited for my parents to come home. 😀

Nonetheless am excited for this possible chance at practicing sound mixing and editing!

Step 1: Buy a fire extinguisher.
Step 2: Stay away from the fireplace.
Step 3: Trust your Inner Tube instincts and confidently inform your father that everything is under control.
Step 4: Pray because you don’t have anything under control yet. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Step 5: Consider Anchor in the event that efficiency is a factor of setting up this podcast.
Step 6: Listen to Episode 05 of Sarah Iddings’ podcast “Photosynthesis” where she and Matthew Bird talk about some of the basics of setting up a podcast.
Step 7: E-mail Sarah with any further questions, because she will actually answer them in a timely fashion.
Step 8: Report back here with how progress is coming along.

Get ready for bed and wait for the sugar crash, probably. Which may even be overtaking me as I type. But while I’m still conscious, how was your day?

It was okay, but tomorrow will be even cooler because I’ve been invited to participate in a Bible study via video chat with some people that I became acquainted with back when the Inner Tube Community wasn’t in a coma. It’s the first video chat of any kind that I’ll get to participate in, so I’m excited to see how it goes. 😀
