You get to fly! And you’re usually headed somewhere exciting.
That’s my perspective on it…
Pleasant Dreams…
Hm, I shall have to watch that later when I have time.
And now we hike along the edge of the uncanny valley, please watch your step.
Our next attraction is the rise of machines.
That is… Unnerving… On so many levels…
I love the fact that people keep pushing for photorealism. We’ll get there. Someday. Maybe.
Hmm…
So I had a dream I was at chris’ college (well, a random college that in my dream Chris went to), and I had to get in this big elevator that could hold 40 people. And I was on one side, and literally everyone else decided to stand on the other side. You could see that the elevator was tilted. And then everyone else started kneeling in a circle and speaking in tongues and I swear they were summoning something, so I ran out the elevator right before the doors closed. And then I decided to walk around and at parts this college was insanely run down. But eventually I ran into Chris playing volleyball and he showed me.how to get where I was supposed to be…
This “college” had a dentists office and a funeral home in it. I’m confused. And Chris was playing volleyball on asphalt…WHY CHRIS??
Who was he playing volleyball with? Was he peppering with someone or was he on a team?
On a team of…7 against 7
That whole dream is very strange. Who summons stuff in an elevator?
AWW HECK NO. NONONO. ANYTHING BUT ELEVATORS, THANK YOU…
MASON GETS IT!!! THE SCARIEST PART WAS THAT THE ELEVATOR WAS UNEVEN!!! AND THE THING WAS STILL GONNA GO!!! NOOOOOPPPEEEEEEEE
Them summoning stuff in the elevator is just proof that elevators are evil
I’m pretty sure there’s a cheap and stupid horror movie where an elevator is possessed and just kills people… I think…
Ah, yes, it’s called ‘Devil’… Super creative for a horror movie name, ain’t it…
Okay, so it was an M Night movie so I guess it wasn’t ‘cheap’, but I mean it still has pretty bad ratings…
Also the elevator isn’t possessed, everyone is just stuck in it with the devil… So it’s noting like I just described…
Still sounds super lame.
I grew up watching Speed (great movie) and at the beginning an elevator crashes…pretty sure that’s where my fear stems from
Kristen’s mini rant about M Night Shyamalan:
I dislike his style. His stuff isn’t scary, he feeds off of suspense (which the way he does it bores me and doesn’t feel suspenseful at all in my opinion) (my mom dislikes him too)
He did sixth sense, which is an OK movie. Good for people who don’t watch horror movies all the time.
He did Split…that was actually pretty ok, despite being inaccurate.
He did The Visit, which is one of my least favorite horror movies that I’ve seen. Just….not scary. He tries to make it more creepy than scary.
He also had a hand in doing She’s All That which is a romcom (I love that movie)…but his horror movie style isn’t my favorite at all.
He also did The Last Airbender movie so……
I love James Wan though
My parents really want me and my older sis to watch Sixth Sense. I definitely prefer suspense than I do gorey horror and all that.
Sixth Sense was good! Most of his stuff isnt, but I can appreciate that one.
I like elevators.
I like heights.
I don’t like the heights of people that are taller than me.
If I was like that, I’d live in constant dissatisfaction. Unless I was around little kids.
Hahaha, true.
