My dad got so sick of hearing “Yup” come out of my brother’s lips he made a bet with him. If he stopped saying “Yup” Dad would give him x amount of money each month. If he said “yup” during that month, he’d have to pay my dad y amount of dollars. Dad won the first month. My brother has won every other month since then. Dad owes him a hefty sum by now.
