Maybe I need to visit cali. The hatch peppers at heb during hatch pepper season!! We used to buy so so many!! And the butterfly migration!!!
Okay, that’s true… There’s nothing like a Fresh Hatch Pepper… Oh, how Cooking Connection is so good that time of year…
I’m lost. Did I mention that I like to eat carrots?
CANNIBALISM!!?!?
See, I’m working to become a kind of humanoid carrot. The only way to become a Human Carrot is to eat lots of carrots, and since I haven’t yet obtained Human Carrot status, it’s not technically cannibalism.
Oh, okay… That’s better…
Cooking connection was the best. We would go to heb, and have tortillas and cooking conception for lunch and never tell my dad!
Cooking Conception? I’m guessing your Autocorrect kicked in again… 😀
Yes, yes it did. But the point got across. It’s amazing!!
CARROT!!! THOSE MEMES!!!!
😀
I miss heb, all my favorite restaurants being 10 min away (except Moe’s) but there was an Asian fusion restaurant in corpus (owned by a Dallas cowboy), man that was good. And ghengis grill was like RIGHT THERE and now we gotta drive 4 hours for one.
I do not miss the summers though. And the bipolar weather with random tornadoes. (Weather here is bipolar. Yesterday it was 70. Today it might snow)
Oh, you had to bring up Genghis Grill… I absolutely love that place… There’s a place closer to my house called Kublai Khan, and I think it’s a little better, but it’s basically the same…
And also… THOSE MEMES!! So looking forward to the rest of them now…
Hudat noodle house. That was the Asian fusion place. BEST PLACE EVER!!!
When I lived in TX, I heard great things about kublai kahn, but it was always too far away.
Also in corpus, was a freebirds or whatever that burrito place was called. Amazing!!
Yup, Freebirds… That place is wonderful also… For some reason, all my friends like Chipotle better, though…
See, before we lived in Texas, we lived right near a moes. And when freebirds opened, we went. And man, we were hooked. We move here, and we got moes (40 min away) and Chipotle (45 min away) and Chipotle isn’t as good as freebirds or moes
Moes like Moe and the Big Exit?
TINGLE TINGLE KOOLOO LIMPAH!
I don’t recognize most of the restaurants your talking about, though I’m thrilled anyone would name their restaurant after Genghis Khan’s grandson.
Heh.
BLIND TO SEE
Where we live, the Mexican food is really bad. Some friends of my Dad’s came to our one day, and Mom and Dad were making Tex-Mex. Unfortunately Dad ruined the Mexican Rice, and some other things went wrong. Everything was still edible, so it got served up. Dad’s friends said it was the best Mexican they ever had.
Huh
Yep, I have a story about Mexican Rice at a restaurant to.
*too
?
I’m not even sure that was meant to be there. My ability to think in a logical manner is slipping away, so I’m having trouble typing anything.
I’m sorry for your lack of sanity. But hey, it fits well on the not-forum!
It really does.
