Created this thread to organize some of the thoughts from the other thread. None of these questions need to be answered in the short term, but they do need to be addressed before we put anything out there.
1) What is the name of the podcast?
2) What is the podcast about?
3) Who is the podcast marketed to? Is there a limit to the potential size of its audience?
4) Who is hosting the podcast?
5) Do the hosts have a serviceable audio setup?
6) Do we have anyone working behind the scenes?
7) How would the podcast be distributed?
8) Do we have any day one marketing assets?
-ROTK has 210 subscribers with maybe 25-50 (optimistically speaking) who would be interested in the podcast
-Sucking up to the AUX Cable (that’s Patreon.com/ryanmatlock)
9) How do we plan around scheduling conflicts?
10) How do we get people excited about the podcast?
Why would there be a limit to audience size?
For example, a Blimey Cow fan podcast would have an audience limited to those who watch Blimey Cow.
Ah, I thought you meant a limit on how many people could listen to each episode.
What would be some good topics to discuss on a podcast?
On this specific podcast, on a totally separate podcast, or on the Aux Cable?
On a podcast in Mars
Well if it’s a podcast in mars, they could dicuss all the weird things humans do. That would be entertaining!

Good job.
Who Would Build the Codes. We would talk about the history of cryptography and programming and speculate on why Matthew hasn’t put up the code yet.
Oh dang, that’s good… We could also do what Kevin says, Whooob Would Build The Robes where we talk about fashion…
I can talk about “fashion” thought I have no fashion sense.
Heh.
Never gonna say goodbye
In the
Oh, yeah, the code…
I think the first post in this thread is something that potential podcasters would find to be very helpful when starting out.
