I went to a hockey game. Local minor team against the SC team (dang it that helps tell where I am).
SC won.

Sweet! Our AHL team here is fun to watch, except they went from being incredible to trash because they all got drafted to the NHL lol…

My NHL team, not the local one but the one I root for, is doing fantastically this year… Top in the Pacific Division right now… Beautiful…

AHL team being icerays? I went to an icerays game once or twice when I lived in Texas. And that’s because the Stingrays were playing them (stingrays are SC)

I only keep up with hockey when I am at the actual games, we don’t have cable so I can’t watch them on tv.

The Icerays are actually NAHL. Confusing, but not the same as the AHL. There are actually 2 Texas AHL teams, though. The Texas Stars (the one close to me), and the San Antonio Rampage. The Stars’ NHL parent team is the Stars, but the Rampage have no parent team, which usually results in them being incredibly good since they don’t get pulled up to the NHL very often.
