And it’s good that you have no clue where I am, manalive. As too many people on here do
I’m going to test your clairvoyance.
I actually have a specific sentence I use in cases of possible clairvoyance. Unfortunately using it this time will mean it exists somewhere outside my head and is no longer a valid test. Are you ready?
Umm… sure? Do people other than me know where you live, Kristen?
Brooke, but I told her. Mason possibly. Maybe potato.
“I have a kangaroo named Alan Rickman!”
Okeydoke.
Is that what you thought I was going to say?
*while bouncing up and down* The air is full of spices. One week detention, Mr. Potter.
Not particularly. 😀
Not sure if that is a yes or no. Why are spices flying through the air?
Good to know that you can neither read the future nor my mind.
I was referencing the movie version of Sense and Sensibility. No,watching it was not my choice… I have older sisters.
I just read the book personally.
…I don’t like Jane austin…so
Oh, really? That’s funny.
Yeah, I prefer murderous things
There’s a series of books about Jane Austen solving murder mysteries. Also, #10487 was to #10484.
The books can be a bit of dense reads since not a lot happens and we’re living in the wrong century to get some of the jokes, but all in all she’s a pretty exceptional author.
I read Pride and Prejudice for school, and that was pretty good.
I always like hearing what your favorite author’s favorite books are, because sometimes it’s really cool when you learn that they geeked out about some of the books you do even if they died half a century before you were born. Other times they just list off a bunch of books that no one’s heard of and aren’t really that great, because no one had anything better to read before they started writing.
Manalive, are you familiar with the Wingfeather Saga?
I just looked it up on good reads. It sounds hilarious, but I’m not big on slow pacing or Tolkien style world building. I’ll see if I can’t get my hands on a copy and give it a shot.
I’m currently reading the outlaw chronicles by ted dekker (yes, because of ryan)
There’s not a whole lot of slow pacing that I remember. It’s significantly more hilarious than Tolkien.
I can’t get through Tolkien’s stuff.
I’m reading the Hobbit for school right now, and I forgot how delightfully wonderful it is.
It’s not my style.
Not saying it was, just saying that it’s a well-written and legitimately good story.
Yes, I understand that
Yep.
