It’s 1:37AM, and my brain left hours ago.
I’ll start looking for it. I only hope that it fares better than your Welcome.
Superchris said he may have a few ideas on where my welcome is, but he can’t tell me until tomorrow. I do not need my brain until work on monday.
That’s nice. I usually try not to leave my brain somewhere where I’m not, but I’m not judging.
After 10, when I get….stranger. it just goes somewhere. It doesn’t like me when it’s late.
“Red must not be taken in vain by fake red heads” uh oops
Hahaha
I actually really like Midsummer Station. I felt like it flowed a lot better than Mobile Orchestra did, though I still love Mobile Orchestra. I need to listen to Ocean Eyes sometime, and relisten to All Things Bright and Beautiful
On MBTI types: I’m an ISFJ, but that animal chart…
I don’t feel like I’d be a good rhino XD I feel like I would be a much better turtle. (Originally I misread the letters under the turtle and thought it said “ISFJ” and not “ISTJ”)
On the Avatar sidetrack:
We’ve actually done a thing where we “assigned” a character to each other.
I’m Katara
My brother is Sakka
My sister is Momo
My sister’s boyfriend is a blend of Zuko and Sakka, more emphasis on Zuko
BREAKING: I SURVIVED THE GRADUATION CEREMONY
Congratulations, Dawn!
Josiah, I started out with Ocean Eyes. I started it up while driving and ended up playing it three times through it was so good, Umbrella Beach is one of my favorites. He intentionally wanted Mobile Orchestra to sound a bit like a collection of singles. I’m interested to see where his music goes post Scores. He’s promised us something this year so I’m hoping it’s good.
The Midsummer Station just felt a lot less quirky or thoughtful than anything else he’s made.
I am so tired that a car almost hit me and I didn’t even blink.
I’m not sure how to respond to that. Are you alright? Is this a superpower? Why are you still awake?
I am fine. The car stopped because my mom yelled at the driver. I still didn’t really react.
This is not a superpower. This is Kristen that went to bed at 3 and got up at 8 and then went to bed until 10 but it was not solid sleep.
I am awake because it is impossible for me to sleep during the day.
Sorry you’re tired. Don’t ever move to Alaska.
I don’t plan on it.
Dawn: Oh ho! You have a sister, eh? This is news… I’m not really sure what animal best fits my personality… Tenzin is a pretty good choice for me as far as Avatar/Korra characters go.
Manalive: Yeah, Midsummer Station was my first, so that’s probably why I’m partial to it. I agree that it’s not quirky or thoughtful… I still like it, though. I also am really excited for whatever he’s putting out next, as the Scores were superb.
WHY IS CHICKEN RUN A CHILDREN’S MOVIE???????
WHY WAS THIS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES WHEN I WAS A CHILD?????
Because it’s a decent movie. 500.
This should not be a children’s movie.
Why?
*Why not?
It’s super dark! Have you seen it recently??
No, it’s been 6ish years. I don’t remember it being all that dark, though, and I wasn’t a kid that watched mature movies.
It’s about all these chickens dying. In the words of superchris “chicken genocide”
…yeah? So? I wouldn’t call it genocide.
Shouldn’t be a kids movie.
*kid’s. It’s about chickens. It’s claymation. It turns out fine in the end. I see no issue.
I mean yeah, you’re not going to show it to five-year-olds, but I see no problem with seven or eight-year-old+ kids watching it.
