TBH, I don’t see what’s so great about the Great Gatsby…
It’s pretty good. What do you think of Gatsby?
I don’t either… I get why people like it, I just really didn’t.
It’s…meh so far. Not interesting enough to keep my attention for long, otherwise I’d have finished it by now.
I read both books for American Literature class back in high school and liked Fahrenheit 451 better than the Great Gatsby. Weirdly, though, I disliked the Great Gatsby enough that I remember it better than I remember Fahrenheit 451. Interesting how memory is tied to the magnitude of emotions rather than how positive they are.
Yeah. It’s definitely very well written, and I understand reasons for liking it, but the plot and characters drove me batty.
I’m reading Gatsby soon… Now I know not to raise my expectations lol…
It’s possible you’ll like it. I just didn’t.
I’m lovin’ going back and reading old threads…
I tried that, but then someone Rick-Rolled the whole Not-Forum.
I think that may have been my idea. Whoops.
You ‘All Starred’ it I thought.
I did, but I may have also given Brooke the suggestion of spamming with Never Gonna Give You Up.
. . . Well okay then.
Indeed.
Dear F.A.C.E.s, Happy Valentine’s Day!
I love you all (in a non-romantic way).
I also love that there may be a new episode releasing today!
That is all I have to say.

? Happy American Independence Day, everyone! ? ?? I’m loving living in the USA right now. It isn’t perfect, but the nation has been emerging from the pandemic quicker than most other countries in the world, thanks to widespread COVID-19 vaccine availability, and that makes me extra grateful to be here.
(You know, if I had read that previous sentence back when this thread was last posted on, I would have assumed it was a work of fiction. Yet here we are. ?)
