(And I wanna go to Hawaii…but I dislike the beach…Disney has a resort there)
…aaand we got eight more inches. Woop.
Dude, if we got any snow, I would…probably still have to work.
But I would be happy about the heater being on in the office. Whereas, it’s 68 outside and the heater is on in the office and I think I’m sweating to death! (My poor clients that gotta see me like that)
I messaged Kevin on fb yesterday, offering to help him with any questions he has etc. (Because my manager told me to. I told her “no that’s creepy, he don’t know me, it ain’t like he’s ryan” and she forced me) and he hasn’t approved the convo yet or anything and I’m super nervous, not that he will say no, but that he will ask questions. I know I can answer them because when I get bored at work a do a ton of snooping on the irs website, researching stuff I’m curious about.
But like, if he replies (in my head I say “when he replies” because I’m super optimistic) I don’t know if I can stop myself from screaming and flipping out…and if he does it while I’m at work…
How do I contain my fangirling if I’m at work or helping my neighbor with her fb live sale of the stuff she sells where I have to be “quiet” but I try to make her laugh and such while helping her off camera.
Lol. How would you feel doing Kevin’s taxes. Weird? Epic? Stalkery?
68 degrees… and the heater is on. What in the world? Granted, I’m a guy that considers over 55 degrees practically shorts weather… but still.
50 is shorts weather. And I work with older people.
If I did Kevsky’s taxes (which I can do dispite being in different states), I would DIE AND SCREAM AND it would be cool. I would know his entire life, and his phone number…so probably stalkery, but I wouldn’t treat him any different from my other clients
Although, whenever I think about the possibility of him replying or having me do his taxes. I get so nervous I start shaking. So lame
Being nervous and shaking prevents your legs from functioning?
Yes. I am sitting on the floor currently. Shaking from the thought. So yes
Actually. It may be a mix of nervousness and dehydration. Something about not having any water today and only coffee, tea, and an energy drink…
So I didn’t wanna start a new thread, but can we talk about how idiotic and one sided the media is?
I was watching the news (local news) and, you know the news is always pushing equality, especially in this area where it’s predominantly African Americans, and where white cops shoot them because they have a gun or something and the entire city goes into riot…yeah, anyways, “equality”. Yet they make a statement saying something about “President Obama” and “Mr Trump”.
I’m sorry, Trump may not be a good guy, but neither is Obama, so call him President Trump, and Obama isn’t President anymore, so stop acting like it. Trump is going to change things, for better or worse, I don’t know. But you respect everyone…and they try to say they live in the south. Get that disrespect out of here, if I’m willing to call Obama, “President Obama” that one time I met him, you can at least say President Trump. If you truly hate him, social media, stop talking about him. You are only making him more popular.
I agree. I get really annoyed at the media, because they always twist things in favor of the liberals. I think the whole #notmypresident thing is completely, utterly, and thoroughly idiotic. He IS your president, so just deal with it, people! I’m not a big fan of Trump, but I’m willing to give him a chance, and the only kind of stupid thing he’s done so far is the wall order. No, I don’t have a problem with the immigration order. The media wants people to think that it’s this terrible permanent ban on Muslims, and we’re deporting tons of people, when that’s not the case. It’s a 90-120 day ban on immigrants from seven terrorism-linked countries entering the US. The purpose of the law isn’t to get rid of all Muslims, it’s to give us time to come up with a better method for screening. As far as I know, the only people that we’re deporting or jailing are people that have entered the US illegally. Illegally. That means they broke the law, and deserve it. On a different note, the whole DeVos thing is also irritating. Everybody is saying that she’s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad, simply because she’s in favor of school choice. As a homeschooler I obviously am in favor of school choice, and don’t see any logical reason for being against it, all these people want is more money in the government. In addition, it’s completely foolish because most of the politicians outspoken against it either went to private school, or are sending their kids to private school. I hope you enjoyed my rant.
It was very nicely written.
I’m not a big Trump fan, but I’m fed up with politicians. If the only thing he does is stable us, and make jobs and reduce out debt (businessmen are good at that), then in my mind he will have won.
When Obama became President, there were marches, but they left D.C. looking better than when they got there. And these “women riots” are busting starbucks and leaving D.C. in ruin. And they call us pro-gun southern “redneck hillbillys” violent and everything else. I’m not the one hurting starbucks!!
Trump is your President. Just like Obama was mine. Do I like Obama? No! But I sucked it up and was the bigger person. And that’s what these people need to do.
(Sorry for all the “you”s and such. It’s just….easier)
Don’t even get me started on football players etc sitting down during the national anthem and such. If you don’t like this country and our laws and everything else. Pack up. Get out. We don’t need them here throwing us in more disarray!!
Also. I love people coming to our country, we host french students almost every summer.
But why are we going to let these people in, and live off of our money and help them with everything, when we can’t even get our own poor, homeless, old, disabled, orphaned, etc, people. We can’t help our own, yet we will let more in, and help them instead.
I see something wrong with that.
I’m not against immigration, heck America is the melting pot after all…but let’s sort out our own issues before we help others sort out theirs.
If Trump can make America thrive and get out of debt and if he can make a ton of jobs, yes, let more people in. But…until then, let’s fix ourselves first.
I believe that Trump has that same idea. And if that’s the case, we can thrive. We can get back on top.
Right now, countries think they can push us around. Trump won’t allow that to happen either. Trump has the opportunity to set things back in line, and even if he does build a wall (which Mexico is all for the wall last I heard), he may still be considered a good President in my eyes.
We survived Obama, Clinton, and other Presidents that were not great; we can CERTAINLY survive Trump.
Yep. I find it kind of amusing that often people never mention the worst presidents in history as the worst presidents in history. e.g. Harding, Grant.
I don’t think we have ever had a perfect president. And that fact is never going to change. Nobody is perfect, yet society tries to hold some to that standard, and not others
Yup.
Oh, sweet, it’s snowing.
Oh sweet, tornado watch. And no snow
Or warning…whichever
Nonono….it’s a watch…there’s a tornado not far from me
Hmm…
If there is a tornado…where in my office am I supposed to hide? The bathroom is right by the back door. So that’s a no. There is a ton of open space up front, so idk if hiding under my desk is wise
Put some bacon on it.
Thank you. I will just RUN TO THE GROCERY STORE IN A TORNADO SO I CAN FRY UP SOME BACON AND FEED IT
…maybe it needs a snickers bar
Or a tomato.
