Adding impact font to a picture (with top text and bottom text) doesn’t make it a meme. In fact, in many circles, Impact font is outright banned and the top text, bottom text is the subject of many post-ironic jokes. If your meme isn’t making a joke, referencing something, or ridiculing something, it’s not even a meme (let alone “spicy” or “dank”).

The ACES/FACES/AuxiClan really need to pick up their standards.

I hadn’t checked the Instagram page recently, I was mostly thinking of the late episode memes from about a month ago, and I don’t know where the impact rant came from. They’ve definitely picked up in quality over the past couple of posts, so let’s keep that going.

It’s all good kumquat. Most of the “the episode is late” meme are mine…though I don’t use impact font.
I mostly just send them memes to be an annoying turd, and then angie posts them because we think they are funny.
If the memes have “poulet frit” on it, it was mine. And I know mine are not always funny, I just try to be annoying

Either way, it’s all good I’m sure. Everyone has different humor. Personally, I laugh at the word pizza, so like…I’m weird (it’s actually an inside joke, but that’s beside the point)

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I doubt you hurt anyone’s feelings. Personally I judge my own memes hard core. There are only a few that I like…and one hasn’t been posted. Probably because it’s horrifying.

This was basically just a bundle of complaints that I had in general that I just threw out, not really directing it at anyone in particular, just generally frustrated at some things that I saw recently online. I don’t even have a problem with impact font, it’s just one of a bunch of things where people outside of internet culture are like “yeah, that’s what a meme is, right?”
