I found the issue: this thread is inconsistent:

It’s entitled “Petition To Actually Get Appluadible To Exist”.

Ryan said that someone had bought “Appaudible.com”.

Josiah said that someone had bought “applaudible.com”.

Until there is some consistency, I would also like to point out that “applaudable.com” seems to be available for sale. Not as much of a pun, but possibly a more desirable address in general.
