Okay, everyone! Gather around, we’re gonna play another game.
I need a story. But not just any story, I want a new crazy-but-not-too-crazy story. And that’s where you come in.
I’m sure everyone here is familiar with the game of “pass the story”, yeah? Each of us takes a turn adding to a story.
So here’s the setting. This tale takes place in a time of dragons, knights, kings, queens, and outhouses. Our goal? Adventure. An epic quest of some sort. Got it? Okay, let’s go!
Once upon a time, long ago in a little village on some distant hillside, there lived a…
llama, taken care of by a lad going by the name of Peter. He always dreamed of…
moving to the city to pursue music. The problem was…
his evil stepmother, [name…]
wanted to send him to a distant land…
to study dark arts and follow in her footsteps.
(You can write more than just a sentence fragment at a time if you want.)
…and because she despised llamas so much. But Carlos the llama had other ideas. And so, late one night, he snuck out with Peter to go to the city and pursue his dream of playing music. There was only one problem with their otherwise brilliant plan. They didn’t know how to get to the city.
“Let’s pick a direction and keep walking, we’ll eventually find something,” said Peter.
“Ehhhh, or we could follow the yellow-ish road,” suggested Carlos the llama.
Peter shrugged and sheathed his sword, which was really just a bread knife, but let’s indulge him. He was embarking on a dangerous journey, and he needed something to protect himself other than his powerfully smelly armpits.
Peter and Carlos started along their journey on the yellowish road.
“What do you think we’ll find in the city?” Peter pondered.
“Probably thugs and drugs,” Carlos replied. The thought of thugs and drugs and thugs doing drugs scared him.
They pass a mud hut…
Where the strange herbwoman dwelled. She appeared in the doorway, and began hobbling after Peter and Carlos while calling…
“You with the weird hair and the llama, do you want some rosemary?” To which Peter replied “uh, not really. Thanks tho.” When the herbwoman heard this she was…
…defeated, for nobody has ever turned down her rosemary.
She decided to grab her cow, Robecca, and follow the crazy-haired boy and his llama. Periodically yelling at him to try her rosemary.
completely nonchalant about it. Almost suspiciously so. “Oh, okay. Have a good trip to the ci-wherever you’re going.”
(Oops. Which one do we use?)
(Whichever one the next person decides)
(I feared this would happen, also is that like a mixture of rob and Rebecca?)
(Yes. Is it boy? Is it a girl? Will we ever know??)
“You too,” said Peter, but he immediately regretted it…
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean… I mean… you know how you say ‘I love you’ on the phone… And when someone.. You know… and then you… you know?”
“Just go,” said the woman.
“Yeah, that would be a good idea,” Peter said as he slowly moved away.
(I saw Potato’s first)
(Mason picked potatoes but can robbeca still be involved)
(You could add her into the story, you can do whatever you want)
Peter and Carlos continued down the path…eventually they reach a fork in the road.
To the right is a smooth path…to the left is a cow.
Peter and Carlos go left.
As Peter continued down the yellowish road a random cow with undetermined gender followed him and Carlos, which was weird. But as the walked now apparently with a cow they heard a sound coming from…
(No not again! )
(Although that worked)
Unbeknownst to them, someone was watching them as they approached Robecca.
(Whoever goes next. You decide)
(Kinda)
(Never mind)
(Lol)
Carlos and Peter and Robecca abruptly stopped.
“GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!” Peter yelled at the sky, breaking the fourth wall.
