Current list from Episode 016 is:
Portal
Mari0
Legend of Zelda: The Lampshade of No Real Significance
The Battle for Wesnoth
That Dragon, Cancer… Very much a cinematic-type game, so don’t expect innovative gameplay or spectacular anything, but it is a fantastic game. It won the Most Impactful Game of 2016 Award. Also, don’t play when you’re happy. It’s terribly sad…
Just for the record. I really appreciate this list being here.
I read the wiki page for That Dragon, Cancer. Yep, sounds sad.
Also it’s very intriguing
Don’t Starve (I have wanted to play that for like a year now)
I don’t really know anything about Horizon Zero Dawn, but it looks really cool.
TINGLE TINGLE KOOLOO LIMPAH!
The Stanley Parable. One of the funniest, most interesting, and occasionally existentially disconcerting games ever created.
I have watched ppl play that! It’s 100% on the list
UNDERTALE (If you don’t know what that game is, avoid spoilers at all costs.)
And are you into horror at all?
Hahahahahaha am I into horror? Honey, my whole life is horror. (That’s my typical reaction to that question) (I’ve heard of undertale, but never watched anyone play it)
Undertale is amazing. Seriously, don’t research it or watch anything on it, it will 100% ruin the experience…
Fun Fact: The soundtrack to Undertale is licensed by Materia Collective.
Ok, I will not watch any or look up anything. I promise
*stereotypical little kid* Pinky Promise and cross your heart?
Cross my heart hope to die, stick a needle in my eye.
Let’s avoid putting sharp objects near each other’s faces if at all possible.
[wishes he could remember which Owl City song includes something about crossing his heart and hoping to die. It’s on Mobile Orchestra.]
Fine *puts knife down*
Knife job, Kristen.
The song is called “I Found Love.” It’s meant to be a man’s last few thoughts before death, so the cross my heart and hope to die is sort of pun-ish.
Yes, and the Undertale soundtrack is unbelievably fantastic in so many ways…
For horror, I’d suggest:
Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion
Pony Island
Stray Cat Crossing (Nice short game with awesome story)
Ib
Yeah those are my favorites. I haven’t played any of them lol but still…
Also you should play To the Moon 😀 all the tears.
I watched Chris Howard play to the moon, it’s on the list so I can experience it first hand!
Ah, that’s right. I kind of thought it might be, but I wasn’t sure… thank you, Manalive!
Ok, yall, the time has come. I am starting to save for my laptop, and can afford one (probably won’t buy one until Julyish), but have no clue what kind to get. Any suggestions? It needs to run…whatever online college needs. Idk tech things.
I would say Apple, but getting PC would be more logical for what you want to use it for.
…isn’t apple super expensive?
Well, yes. It’s much higher quality than Microsoft, though.
…hmm
