Jeff (when you read this), I know you enjoy research (carrot, feel free to research if you want to instead of jeff).
Statistically speaking, who is a better all around quarter back: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, or Cam Newton?
I’m not talking superbowl wins, but…the other stuff.
Off the top of my head, I presume it’s Brady because he’s been around longer.
Ok, but…stats. like…who throws further and such.
Brady is pretty epic though
That, I have no idea. Probably Newton because he’s the youngest.
Kristen, I took a look at the stats for Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Cam Newton, and I’m not sure how you want me to compare them. Each one is from a different generation of starting QB’s and only one of them started as a rookie (Cam Newton). Cam was undoubtedly the better quarterback as a rookie because Tom Brady should have been cut and Aaron Rodgers would have failed worse than Alex Smith (the other quarterback taken in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft) if he had started right away, since he was injury-prone and had a lot to learn. Also, Cam is more athletically gifted than the other two, so defenses pay more attention to his running ability than they do for Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady.
I guess if we’re just using stats, I’m going to go with Tom Brady, since he’s the only one of the three to punt in the NFL, and he leads the other two in receptions and yards receiving. #TeamPlayer
Thank you. That…basically answered it for me. Whatever “it” was (I forgot what I was thinking at that moment)
You’re welcome!
Yeah, I feel like Tom Brady has been the best overall. But he’s also the one I hear about the most as a result of living in New England.
Why am I not in the least bit surprised that Gronk came out of the game with an injury?
…I forgot to watch the game. But…we won
Yeah, we did.
I went to church today, and someone pointed out my jersey and asked if I liked Brady and I said “I like the patriots, I disown Brady on occasion” and he started telling me how he isn’t a pats fan but has mad respect for them and Brady “even if he ‘bends the rules’ a little”
Fun conversation to have with a random old man.
Most conversations with random old people are pretty great.
Except ones with me, those aren’t very interesting.
Some conversations with old people and me go:
Them: “hey, why is your hair blue?”
Me: “because I like it”
Them: “are you in college”
Me: “no ma’am/sir. I do taxes at *company name here*”
Them: “look at you, defying the system! You go!!”
Ok, yeah, pretty great conversations
That’s is pretty entertaining.
There was this one time that an older guy intentionally didn’t ask me what I’m going to do after I graduate. It was great fun.
Nice!!!
“So, [censored] more years in high school?”
“Yup.”
“I’m not going to ask you what you want to do after you graduate.”
“Thank you.”
NICEEE!!!!
THAT PERSON DESERVES A HIGH FIVE
Agreed.
He really did.
Packers just won in dramatic fashion. #GoPackGo
Oy, did they? The Patriots did to some extent, too.
YES THE PACKERS DID
I guess I should go look it up.
ESPN’s headline of “Tom Brady magic saves Patriots from another fourth-quarter disappointment” translates to “Patriots won in dramatic fashion, but we thought they should have done better.”
Yeah, sounds accurate.
