Actually, Kristen, you gave away your age once before. I wasn’t going to mention it, but since you did just now, here is how I knew you were 19:

As for tax law, I was hoping that the simplified tax code would be implemented before you had to study, so that your tests would hopefully be easier. Oh, well. I did go to graduate school with lots of accountants, so I understand someone enjoying tax law (despite the negative connotation that it has in public). For the record, though, I personally am not an accountant nor a tax law enthusiast. My specialties lie elsewhere.
Accounting is extremely different than tax preparer.
My sister is taking accounting and asking me to help her with depreciation and such. But it’s completely different than the depreciation we do at my work. So…not gonna become a CPA because I will get confused.
I have hinted at my age several times…and my state. Heck, recently I totally gave away my state. (Also, I miss my sweet 16. Life was so simple…)
I can rant all day long about the tax law being stupid and hurtful, but…it fascinates me.
You know what fascinates me? This instrument I just found out about (with a backstory that is even cooler than the instrument itself):
Didn’t Ben Franklin invent that? Also, I’m pretty sure somebody played it on an episode of Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood… Dean Shostak maybe?
“Didn’t Ben Franklin invent that?”…Thanks for watching the video, Josiah.
As for the second part, you are correct. Dean Shostak did play it on Mr. Rogers. https://www.ket.org/episode/MSTR 001764/
(Yes, there should be a space in the link above. It’s a weird link.)
Haha sorry, I was about to watch Sherlock…
I’ve always kinda wanted to learn how to play the glass armonica. It’s just so cool
That would be cool. I think the hardest part would be finding/building a glass armonica and shipping it to your desired performance location (the glasses are somewhat fragile). Once you did that, the learning would be relatively simple. 😀

Trube
In this case, it would be truba.
When I read what Franklin wrote, this sound played in my head:
In case someone wanted to be a marimba:
milk
It’s spoiled.
The Hurdy Gurdy is an interesting instrument, but it is difficult to play it well, even when using all the force you have:
