Aux Cable Pokemon parody
I wanna hear the very best
Like no show ever was
To tune in is my real test
To join the fandom is my cause
Chorus
(Aux Cable, gotta get plugged in) It’s Matlock and Bird
(Aux Cable) You know they’ll lead the herd
(Aux Cable) Oh, they’re my good friends
In a forum we must defend
(Aux Cable, gotta get plugged) Episodes so late
The F.A.C.E.s have saved the date
Episodes will come eventually
Aux Cable! (Gotta get plugged in) Gotta get plugged in…
This parody is to the classic song “Do Everything” by Steven Curtis Chapman.
You’re showing your F.A.C.E. on the Not-Forum space for the sixteenth time tonight,
Kicking out bots, writing up lots of cheer and thoughts polite.
Reference an apocalypse, sing “I Love My Lips”, and head off to Skype.
While I may not gamble, I bet there’s ample
Wonder sometimes, does it matter at all?
Well let me remind you, it all matters just as long
As you do EVERYTHING you do
To the glory of the One Who made you,
‘Cause He made you
To do every little thing that you do
To bring a smile to His face.
Tell the story of grace
With every move that you make
And every little thing you do.
Maybe you’re that guy with a nice bow tie, maybe your shirt’s custom-made.
You may be holding your horses, leading armed forces, but at the end of the day
Little stuff, big stuff, in-between stuff, God sees the means and weights,
And while I may not wager, I bet there’s major
Wonder sometimes, does it matter at all?
Well let me remind you, it all matters just as long
As you do EVERYTHING you do
To the glory of the One Who made you,
‘Cause He made you
To do every little thing that you do
To bring a smile to His face.
Tell the story of grace
With every move that you make
And EVERYTHING that you do.
Maybe you’re sitting in math class
Or maybe on a mission in Botswana
Or maybe you’re working on a fancast
Writing a pun for “iguana”.
Maybe you’re vacationing at Disney
Or proposing on a Model T,
Anywhere and everywhere that you be,
Whatever you do
It all matters.
So do what you do.
Don’t ever forget
To do EVERYTHING you do
To the glory of the One Who made you,
‘Cause He made you
To do every little thing that you do
To bring a smile to His face
And tell the story of grace
As you do EVERYTHING you do
For the glory of the One Who made you,
‘Cause He made you
To do every little thing that you do
To bring a smile to His face
And tell the story of grace
With every move that you make
And every little thing you do…
And every little thing you do.
This is great and it made me smile a lot 😀
double joints parody of double knots
Verse 1
I was lost in a world of thumb wars
Where thumbs broke out of there points
And the one thing that saved me in those bone breaking days
Are known as double joints
Pre-chorus 1
And while it might seem that everyone else has way bigger thumbs
Just imagine how lost they must be, since their thumbs don’t come with….
Chorus
Double Joints! They keep the bones from breaking when they aren’t .
Double Joints! They keep the bone’s many joints from falling apart!!!!
Without them you are not cool
You could possibly even die
And when talking about em I simply cannot lie…..
I love double joints…….. Double Joints…. Double Joints.. Double Joints. Double Joints…….
Verse 2
I went on grand adventure, to make my joints more toned.
I went to the muscle temple, cause those were the gyms of old
But I sprung a trap and dumb bell came me and could have been crushed
And I know that I would have if my joints were made of mush
Chorus
Double Joints! They keep the bones from breaking when they aren’t
Double Joints! They keep bone’s many joints from falling apart!!!!
Without them you are not cool
You could possibly even die
And when talking about em I simply cannot lie
I love double joints……
Bridge(rap)
Hey I’m here. And I think that the point
That it’s double or nothing when comes to your joints
So fight with double joints, cause if you cannot
Your bones will break and your joints will pop
I see many more people without the double
But fighting with those comes with trouble
But whenever people say I’m gonna lose
I know it isn’t true, cause of my
Double Joints, joints made twice
I’d be really fancy, if made thrice
But if I find the joints that are on your hand
Are not the double, here’s what I’ve planned
I’ll approach you, get ready to learn
When you get stunned by my epic burn
I’ll put out my hand, for a shake
Then I’ll say nevermind
YOUR JOINTS’LL BREAK!!!
Chorus x2
Below is a parody song concept that I came up with simply because the original song had the line “so many faces”. I don’t expect this one to actually be performed… but if it is, that would be cool. ? Not everything in the lyrics is a reference or a pun, but I did include some bonus Jordan Taylor references in it, just for fun.
Here is my parody of NF’s “The Search” called “The Podcast” (for lack of a better title):
Ryan: Hey F.A.C.E, how’s life?
F.A.C.E.: I don’t know; it’s alright.
I’ve been dealin’ with some things like every human being
And really didn’t sleep much last night.
Ryan: I’m sorry…
F.A.C.E.: That’s fine.
I just think I need a little “me time”.
I must blink, eyes need a little clean time,
Remembering all the shows and the butterflies.
Yeah, last year we had a breakdown;
Thoughts tellin’ us to hush getting’ too loud;
Tried to make a musical, then we bowed out.
Somethin’ funny’s going on up in our house…
Ye, started thinkin’ maybe I should move out,
You know pack my van, take a new route.
Clean up my land, get the moose out.
Unseal the can, let the air out…
I’ve been searchin’.
Ryan: What does that mean, F.A.C.E.?
F.A.C.E.: I’ve been learnin’.
Grabbin’ my keepsakes,
Leavin’ my burdens.
Well I brought a cow with me; There’s no heard in.
Lookin’ at the view like, ‘Where’s the landmark?’
Pickin’ up the cues right? I’m a pool shark.
Hate it when I lose sight; life gets so dark.
And trips might need cars…
Ryan: We’re prob’ly gonna take a Long Drive there, but hey!
It’s worth it though!
We need a draft; fans, grab your phones.
Been a minute, I know; now come back to roam.
Looking for the antidote
To crack the code.
Pretty vivid, I admit it, I’m in classic mode.
I’d like money given to me, but I can’t condone
Talkin’ Patreon just because I lack the notes
For backin’ folks.
I’m lookin’ for the map to dough.
You seen it?
Been makin a whole lot of changes.
I grew out a beard, haven’t shaved it,
Hopin’ sponsors will see what my stage is.
I look all around and see so many F.A.C.E.s…
Yeah
That’s when I start to get wistful…
That’s when fingers become pistols.
That’s when I go from my fiscals,
Watch the zingers sizzle,
Lookin’ to cook victuals (vittles), and …
Where’d the bread go?
Ohh!
Ain’t that somethin’?
Funds came in, didn’t see that comin’.
Hands on the plow, can’t stop me workin’
I killed my ninja star, had to cease my shirkin’.
Throw it away like ‘I don’t want it!’
Watch it fly, bright like a comet;
Someone screams because they sat on it…
I said ‘don’t touch it’,
Now y’all done it.
I can be critical,
Never typical.
Intricate with every syllable
Like it’s clinical.
Instrumental like a noisy scalpel,
It’s the Aux Cable.
Even on hiatus, it makes you feel like you’re in it, though.
You call it what you wanna, but never call it forgettable.
Leave you deep in thought or water; it’s whatever floats your boat.
Way that I’ve been thinkin’ is Cinematic, it’s beautiful.
Man, I don’t know if I’m Owl City or a podcast host (podcast host)
Yeah, the sails can rise,
Doesn’t mean much, though, if the wind declines.
See we’ve all got somethin’ buried deep inside
That we try to elevate, you know, hoping it flies,
Try to hold it over water, just in case it waves ‘hi’,
Then it blows up out of nowhere like balloons in the mines,
Then it hovers over you to help your whole ship arrive.
You don’t relate to that? Must not have family like I have.
The point I’m makin’ is the mind is a powerful place,
And what you feed it can affect you in a powerful way.
It’s pretty neat right? Yeah, but it’s not always safe.
Let me tell you ‘bout the combination station, okay?
Just think about it for a second: if you look at your F.A.C.E.
Every day when you get up and think we’ll never be great,
You’ll never be great.
Not because we’re not, but the hate
Will try to cool off your group promptness till you think “isolate”.
(Whoo)
We’ve been developin’,
Take a look at the benefits.
Remember ‘My Legs’ width?
We could never be delicate.
Are we even relevant?
That depends how you measure it.
Take a measurement,
Grow the calves up and give me the elephants.
Pretty evident,
Dependable, a visible specimen.
There’s adrenaline,
Depending on if we’re hunting venison.
Pretty elegant,
But not afraid to tell you to get a grip.
Proper etiquette:
We let the warden know when we celebrate.
Ah! It’s that time again,
Better grab your headphones and invite your friends.
Aux Cable’s back on, yeah, plug it in.
Look at me, everybody, I’m smilin’ big. 😀
On a road right now that I can’t predict.
Tell me tone that down, but I won’t desist.
My judgment’s sound so it’s case dismissed.
Podcast begins,
It’s back so enjoy the trip. 🙂
