    Intrigueresting…

I can’t remember if I’ve had any FACEs show up in my dreams before, I feel like it’s possible though, because I may have had an AwksCon dream…

It’s certainly more of an… ‘experience’ than it is a game… But I don’t really see that as a bad thing. Pacing is a little off, but other than that I liked it…

After beating it the first time, I would definitely say it’s worth $5… I’m not sure if I got the good ending though… I’m definitely doing some more runs though… Great experience up to the very end… And I mean VERY end…

Well, as I said, I’m only a little bit through my first play through, and I can certainly agree with you. I do wish Alex (that’s her name, right? Lol…) would wait to talk after choosing a dialogue option, but I know that if she does interrupt them then what that character was saying was just filler anyway, and unimportant. I personally kind of enjoy that high anxiety, quick reaction choosing, because knowing that one wrong word can cause the game to shift makes me think, and adds to the dread I feel while playing. Did I make the right choice? Does this affect my future? And you’re right, it does feel like a live conversation. You have to be ready. It adds to the realism of the game imo, as well. Making split second impulse decisions. It’s definitely something you have to give your undivided attention to lol. So, I totally see where you’re coming from, and how that can definitely ruin an experience for someone. I can follow this up after I beat my first run through though!

Yeah, I heard this was an indie gem that went under a lot of people’s radars, so I decided to give it a shot, especially since it was so cheap.

KRISTEN. I know you haven’t been on lately, figured this may or may not get your attention, idk, especially since I can’t find the ‘Oy, Kristen’ thread (as I recall there being… Maybe there never was…). Anyway, I know that you don’t have a TON of spare time, and also only own LoZ on Switch, so I’m just recommending something you might possibly like.

It’s on sale right now on the eshop, and I don’t know how much longer it will be since it’s been on sale awhile, but it’s called Oxenfree. It’s a visual story, basically, in which your decisions have an impact on the narrative. It’s normally $20 (I believe) but it’s on sale for $5 right now, and from what I can tell it’s a pretty good steal. Anyway, the reason I think you’d like it is, not only is it cheap right now, it is very… Supernaturally. I’m not exactly sure what’s happening right now, since I just kinda started, but it’s definitely a supernaturally horrory suspense tale. It’s quite interesting. If it’s something you’d be interested in though, I’d say give it a shot. The sale certainly won’t let forever!… It’s not, like, super scary, definitely probably not to you, but I was just playing this at almost midnight in the dark by myself, and I exited in the middle of a sequence because I freaked… Alright, return to your regularly scheduled foruming…

#thatmomentwhen I showed this to her, we both died laughing since this was one of our childhood movies…

Anyway, she was sitting on the hearth of the fireplace (this is at my parents’ friends brand new house). Little did we know, someone left a lighter next to the fireplace. We were all just talking and laughing, then all of a sudden we heard an explosion. It sounded like a gunshot, or a firework went of in the house. And there was also a fireball that came with it. Well, it caught my sister’s hair on fire. She didn’t even know, but my dad and the other dad literally dove onto her and sniffed it out. My sister was totally confused as to what was happening. We later learned it was the lighter by finding pieces of it scattered throughout the house.

She said her head felt hot afterwards, but not like a burning sensation praise God. But yeah… That happened… Everyone’s alive and okay…

#thatmomentwhen well, in the last 30 minutes since my last post, my older sister’s head legit caught on fire. She’s fine. No burns. But she got hit with a fireball and her hair caught on fire… So yeah. I’m basically on an adrenaline crash right now after that event…
